Shimla, The queen of Hill Stations, is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in India. IT is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The hill station amidst Himalayan cedars and pines, located at an altitude of 2,205 m above sea level in the north-west Himalayas, was the erstwhile summer capital of the British empire.

The City of Shimla

The archaic hill station, enveloped within 7 hills (Jakhoo Hill, Bantony Hill, Prospect Hill, Summer Hill, Observatory Hill, Invererarm Hill and Elysium Hill), has grand old testimonies, colonial architecture, peace-loving environment and plentiful adventure opportunities in store.
